Top Lightweight Contender - Italian boxer Duilio Loi of Milan has been named top contender for the lightweight crown by Ping Magazine, the "Bible" of the boxing world. He has been champion of Europe and unbeaten since August of 1952. Loi replaces Jimmy Carter in the top slot as contender for Wallace "Bud" Smith's title.
