The repeating pattern consists of a curved flower stem with an upwardly fan-shaped flower, from which a large feathered leaf rises that bends downwards. Between the successive loose waves that arise in this way, a tulip lies on the top of a curved stem. Below it is a loose flower along the bottom with five pointed petals on one side. The motifs are connected by a decorative ground, a snow ground. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges. The top and bottom are straight finished, with the bottom provided with picots., anonymous, Southern Netherlands, c. 1720 - c. 1750, linen (material), Binche lace, l 31 cm × w 5 cm ×, 9.5 cm.
