Fichu of natural-colored silk, triangular, trimmed along two edges with a band embroidered with floral motifs in gold-colored metal thread, Fichu of silk, trimmed along two edges with a band embroidered with floral motifs in metal thread. Decoration: in the tip a stem with leaves topped by a palmet, flanked on either side by large leaf shapes that continue as a pendulum along the edge. The garlands are filled with downward-facing flower heads and are alternated with leaf vines and three-leaf clover. The embroidery consists of stitches, needle lace stitches, festival stitches (along the cartels and scallops). The metal wire is wound around a canary-yellow silk core and partly consists of canetille., anonymous, Europe (possibly), c. 1700 - c. 1800, borduurwerk, geheel, embroidering, l 120 cm h 56 cm.
