Akechi Samanosuke Mitsuharu crosses a lake on horseback, The warrior Akechi Samanosuke Mitsuharu (? -1582), the nephew of Akechi Mitsuhide, crosses a lake on his horse. Mitsuharu was a retainer of Oda Nobunaga (1534-82). Nobunaga was betrayed by Mitsuhide and Mitsuharu went to his castle to kill his wife and children, after which he committed suicide.
