New Agricultural Helicopter: Crop pests will fight a losing battle against the new bell aircraft agricultural helicopter which utilizes the downwash of its rapidly whirling main rotor blades to swirl DDT laden dust onto the underside of the foliage. It can also be used to curb plant disease and weeds, apply fertilizer and seed, pollenize orchards and blow moisture from rain-laden fruits. As illustrated in the picture, it can cover a 60-foot swath in one pass, dust between 100 and 200 acres an hour. The largest foreign silvery will be made to Trabajos Aereos Y representations as of Buenos Aires, Argentina to be used in combatting the locusts. Two model shave been shipped to Sweden.
