Labour M.P Marries. Mr John Lewis, Labour M.P for Bolton, was married at Hampstead synagogue, London, this afternoon (Tuesday) to Miss Joy Jocille Fletcher only daughter of Mr and Mrs Horace Fletcher, of Finchley Road, NW. Mr Lewis, who is aged 33, is the director of rubber improvements, Ltd, and is joint inventor of a process for reclamation of rubber. Born in London he is a free man and livery man of the Carmen company. Sponsor of the coal board's Championships for boxing miners, he recently led a successful attack on the boxing board of control for the revision of the colour bar in British boxing. Nearly 100 members of the Bolton Labour Party, some of them councillors, were in London today for the wedding, which was followed by a reception at the Dorchester.
