In Singapore on Way Home - 'I Want to go Back'. - Private William Speakman, V.C. pictured at Changi Airport, Singapore, on his way home from Korea - he is expected to reach Britain early next week. He said at Changi that he would like to go back to Korea and be with 'the boys' again after his leave. Private Speakman, aged 24 and 6ft. 6 * 6ft. 6in. tall, is to be honours with a civic reception in his home * (Altrincham, Cheshire).
