Burgess Shale priapulid worm

Reconstruction of the priapulid worm, Louisella pedunculata, from the Middle Cambrian Burgess Shale of British Columbia. This long priapulid (15 to 26 cm.) burrowed in the sediment and nabbed its prey with a long proboscis where the mouth is located.
