The identity of one of the victims of the double shooting in a car parked off the preimeter track of Holnsley South Aerodrome, has definitely been established as 22 year old Mrs Beryl Lilian May Bromley, of Castle Lane, Bournemouth. The other victim, a man considerably older, is believed to be Mr George Rackham, who had been staying at Wimborne-road, Bournemouth. The bodies were discovered in the car last night and it is thought that they had been there for two days. The woman had wounds in the chest and tehman, who had a loaded revolver in his hand, was shot through the head. Both were in evening dress. 30 May 1947.
