Soldier carrying his musket on his shoulder (no. 34), c. 1600, A soldier, full-length, to the right, holding a musket (a particular type of firearm) resting on his left shoulder (no. 34), c. 1600. In his left hand, in addition to the butt of the musket, he also holds a burning fuse and a furket (musket fork). It is therefore (virtually) the same position as the one shown in the second print of the series. Bottom right first erroneously numbered 2, corrected in 34.
