The Battle of Muhlberg was a pivotal confrontation during the Protestant Reformation. It occurred on April 24, 1547, near the town of Muhlberg in present-day Germany. Led by Emperor Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire, the Catholic forces decisively defeated the Protestant Schmalkaldic League. The victory solidified Charles V's authority over the German states and dealt a significant blow to the Protestant cause.
