The loop is chiseled with accolades around a Classical warrior, a rib with an inscription runs over it, stamped with the arms of Utrecht. The burr walnut flask has been carved with, among other things, lofwork. The iron fittings are embossed with figures, apart from the four partially faceted loading rod sleeves, and consist of the trigger guard, an open-worked screw plate in the form of, a Classic warrior, military trophies and horsework, an open-work, award-winning thumb plate with a small, unprocessed central shield flanked by naked bearers with leaves, and a butt plate with a Classic warrior and accolade, the loading stick has a cow horn cap., Wernand Droogbrood, Utrecht, 1710 - 1715, iron (metal), horn (animal material), grinding, l 154.6 cm l 115.1 cm d 17.2 mm.
