Columbus Circle and Central Park, New York City, New York, USA, 1937. Columbus Circle is a trafic circle laid out by William P Eno in 1905. At its centre is a monument designed by Italian sculptor Gaetano Russo which was erected in 1892 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' discovery of America.
