COMMISSIONER REX: THE NEW ACTORS Actress ELKE WINKENS (31 years old) attended the London Studio Center School from 1989-91 and then took dance and singing lessons for three years in the studio of the Theater an der Wien. Elke Winkens gained her first stage experience in 1993 at the cabaret "Die Hektiker". She made her film debut in 1997 with a leading role in Niki List's "Helden in Tirol". Further film roles followed. From 2001 she was part of Commissioner Rex's investigation team as "Niki Herzog".
