The group is placed on a rococo pedestal, on which a ruin is crowned by a round clock and a tree with branches, flowers and leaves. All this from gilt bronze. The group stands on an irregular oval base, covered with leaves and flowers. A woman (Colombine) is sitting on a hill with a mask in her right hand. With her left hand she caresses a man (Pantalone) under the chin. The man is on her left and wears a beard. The group is marked, types in 'commedia dell'arte': Pantalone, couple or lovers, anonymous, Vincennes, c. 1750 - c. 1755, bronze (metal), porcelain (material), gilding (material), gilding, h 43.9 cm × w 30.7 cm × d 26.1 cm h 16.5 cm.
