The angled tapered legs are strapped at the top. The doors carry two narrow high plaques from Sappho and Flora, on the flap a large oval plaque with the marriage of Amor and Psyche. The top drawer shows a small oval plaque on the left and right with a singing and sewing woman with child. Frames with plain and decorated painted fields, marriage of Cupid and Psyche, (story of) Flora, (story of) Sappho, the poetess, mother and child (ren), woman and child (ren) (family group), sewing, anonymous, c. 1780 - c. 1795 and/or c. 1780 - c. 1790, wood (plant material), oak (wood), maple (wood), satinwood (wood), earthenware, copper (metal), velvet (fabric weave), rosewood (wood), lacquering, h 150.5 cm × w 90.5 cm × d 41.5 cm w 83.5 cm × d 39.0 cm.
