Ideal Homes On Show Today. A wealth of attraction for the homelover - unequalled since before the war is presented at the 25th Daily Mail Ideal Homes Exhibition, which opens this evening (Tuesday) at Olympia, London. Visitors will welcome the re-introduction of free treats and free gifts at many of the stands - another pre-war touch. Exhibits include six full-sized and fully-furnished dwellings, an alluminium bungalow, and intriguing collection of historical timepieces and a playland where kids may be left with a host of playthings while their parents are touring the exhibition. Picture Shows: "It lights and it writes" Mammoth propelling pencil cum lighters are used the emphasise one of the British products displays at the Exhibition. Picture shows: Her Majesty the Queen and Princess Margaret are amused by the Punch and Judy show in the Nestle Playland at the Exhibition. The little boy in the foreground couldn't care less. March 2nd 1948.
