The streamlined super-structure, shapely bow and cruiser stern also contribute to her handsome appearance.Off on her maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York, to-morrow (Saturday) is the Cunard-White Star new passenger and cargo liner "Parthia", (13,340 tons), the fourth new liner to join the Company's expanding post-war fleet. The first Cunard White Star liner to be built in Belfast by Messrs. Harland and Wolff, "Parthia" is designed for the one-class United States services. April 10, 1948.
