Sir George is lecturing to general audiences in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. On "Atoms and Nuclei" and to scientists and science students on "Electro Diffraction". While in Beirut Sir George is to meet Dr. Salwa Nasser Chairman of the Physics Department of the American University, and discuss with him the problems of research in physics. Sir George Thomson is sixty-three. He is Master of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and Emeritus Professor of Physics at London University. March 01, 1955.
