It was natural that Hollywood stars would want to see him, so here he is greeting the great of American filmdom while he was filming his scenes in "The Beginning or the End," which stars Robert walker and Brian Donlevy, with Tom Drake, Beverly Tyler, Audrey Totter, Hume Cronyn, Hurd Hatfield and many others in the outstanding cast. The film was directed by Norman Taurog and produced by Samuel Marx. July 28, 1948.
