It features an inscription alluding to Eugenia, a woman who rebuilt or enlarged a women's monastery of which she was the abbess: "Felix Eugenia, servant of Christ, built a new entry door, whose dedication contains the vows of the cloister's virgins. These doors will be open to all faithful women. This virgin, mother of virgins, completed the atriums of the Lord with her sacred endeavour during the pontificate of Bishop Horontius.
