BUSSOLA 'La Bussola is an instrument discovered by Flavio Gioja napolitano around 1300. It is used by travelers in the deserts and seas to orient themselves on their journey, consisting of a magnetized needle, which, turning freely on a pivot, is always facing of the points to the north and with the other to the south, so that the end facing one pole never turns towards the other (...)
