HMS Sussex was one of the London sub-class of the County-class heavy cruisers in the Royal Navy. View amidships, taken during the 1930s, showing aircraft crane, catapult, 4"/40 anti-aircraft gun and Hawker Osprey plane. The Hawker Osprey was the navalized carrier-borne version of the Hart, performing in the fighter and reconnaissance roles. Note honor guard of Royal Marines in tropical dress uniforms.
