Military flint gun, Simple high quality military gun, for the French market, part of a couple. The lock plate bears the inscription MASTRECK. The barrel is flattened on top until almost at the trumpet, marked at the bottom with what looks like three buttons in a triangle. The flask is simply cut with, among other things, an arrow in the recess for the tail of the barrel. The iron fittings consist of, a symmetrical screw plate consisting of two S-shaped tendrils on either side of an oval button under the lock bolt, and a butt knob with a stepped butt cap and a knob, the loading stick is equipped with an iron cap., anonymous, Maastricht, c. 1690, iron (metal), wood (plant material), cutting, l 52 cm l 33.6 cm d 17 mm l 32.5 cm.
