His father already has film ambitions for him - to be realised as soon as he is old enough to play baby parts. Mr. and Mrs. Beatty were married in 1945 after a B.B.C. romance. Mrs. Beatty - then Dorothy Steele-worked in one of the B.B.C. gramophone libraries. April 03, 1949.
