He Meets Erskine In May -- Newport-born London milkman Dick Richardson (pictured here) has been matched in a heavyweight boxing contest against Joe Erskine, of Cardiff, over ten rounds, at Cardiff on May 7.Richardson was originally to have fought Henry Coopor, of Bellingham, Harringay, London, next Tuesday (February 7) but the Welshman has withdrawn because of an injured hand.This is a big disappointment for Cooper who say the contest as a chance to force at Harringay in November and is matched with Johnny Williams in a final elimanation for the British championship.
