A lion attempts to attack, but Rustams legendary horse, Rakhsh, swiftly intercedes and kills the lion with his bare teeth. Note the pattern on Rakhshs body, which Rustam describes as 'a wonder to behold; like saffron petals, mottled red and gold.'
