Pedro de la Gasca or Pedro de Lagasca (1485-1567). Spanish bishop, diplomat and viceroy of Peru (1547-1550). The Emperor Charles V commissioned him to Peru to restore the peace after the rebellion of Gonzalo Pizarro, appointing him president of the Audience of Lima. Engraving.
