The Tholos (Skias) in the Greek Agora of Athens, Greece. At the southwest side of the agora in Athens, and as part of the Bouleuterion complex, stood the Tholos, a round temple, eighteen metres in diameter, which served as the seat of the Prytaneis of Athens. It was built around 470 BC by Cimon, to serve as a dining hall for the boule (members of the senate).
