NICHOLAS ANTHONY JOHN PHILPOT. FW Woolworth and Co Ltd, 7-10 Fawcett Street, Sunderland, 1970s-1980s.The front elevation of the Woolworth's store at 7-10 Fawcett Street. The Woolworth's store on Fawcett Street was numbered store 144. It opened in 1923, although the Art Deco facade was added in 1930s. The store closed in 2004 and subsequently became a Primark store. From 2016, the premises were occupied by the fashion retailer Flannels.
