Tilly in the gravedigger's house, (1936). 'Tilly Im Totengräberhäuschen, 1559-1632'. German Catholic commander Johann Tserclaes, Count of Tilly (1559-1632) was wounded by a cannonball during the Battle of Rain, (Bavaria, Germany), and died of tetanus a few days later.
