Model or Part of a 74-Gun Ship of the Line, Longitudinal cross section from the middle part of the hull of a ship, on a stand. The skin has been omitted and the model shows the construction with a diagonal connection according to Soetermeer's system on fifteen-part trusses. Four decks are indicated, two with diagonal warp in the web, the deck beams are supported by brass knees. The model has twenty one ports. 1:40 scale, De Ruyter (ship), Rijkswerf Vlissingen (possibly), Flushing (possibly), c. 1833, wood (plant material), brass (alloy), model: h 46.2 cm × w 65 cm × d 27 cm packaging capsule: h 50.5 cm × w 68.5 cm × d 29.5 cm.
