Already awarded the Catalin sailfish pin for entering the first sailfish in the Fishing Derby here, Jean Smythe, Ohio state skeet champion, matched her shooting eye with the cunning and strength of a 300-pound, 12-foot hammerhead shark -- and emerged victorious. Combining the thrills of fishing with those of big game hunting, Mrs. Smythe used a new type sport harpoon gun. Weighing only 100 pounds, she was exerted to the utmost of her strength and skill to bring the big fish in. Mrs. Smythe is a resident of Cleveland, Ohio.
