Nov 27, 2003; Boa Vista, Amazonas, BRAZIL; Three Yanomami women with facial piercings and decorative band jewlery sit on ther ankles at the waters edge with a Yanomami child. The Yanomami Indians are one of the last Stone Age tribes in the world. Their habitat lies on the border between Brazil and Venezuela where close by a giant gas and oil company, Petrobas, has built a refining and transport plant to harvest the land which is rich in resources.
