A party of 14 coaching enthusiasts left the De Vere hotel, Kensington this morning, in "The Times" Stagecoach at Epsom. The coach used to play between Northampton and Peterborough. Chairing the reins with Mr Geoffrey Holub own, a city stockbroker, is Mr Sidney Truett, one of the few remaining professional coachman he is to drive the "old Berkely" between Piccadilly and Brighton in the 1920s. Today "The Times" is being hauled by 3 days and a grey, as Mr Truett could not find a fully matched team. 5 June 1946.
